This work features a hand embroidered quote by David Bowie, which was recorded in an interview with Livewire in 2002. He says: “The truth is of course is that there is no journey. We are arriving and departing all at the same time.” This artwork is an exploration of life, death, grief and time and is a tender celebration of Albert Einstein’s belief that “the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.”
